This not only can lead to an unhealthy relationship with the gym but adverse health effects as well. At GlickFit a holistic / evidence based approach to program design is something taken very seriously as the importance of balancing life stressors with physical stressors cannot sold short. Learning / Implementing lifestyle skills and habits such as active recovery methods, meditation, sleep hygiene, hydration and nutritional skills are a major emphasis within all program design as that’s where the magic happens. The training within the gym is just the catalyst / physical stress to the adaptation…nothing happens without proper recovery!
